Clown Fish Acrylic Painting

Clown Fish is of a clown fish and a grey sea anemone.  Clown fish are symbols of wisdom and the ability to survive within dangerous situations, as well as overcome challenges.  This is a great image for someone who is looking for wisdom, especially with over coming a challenge.

Clown fish are salt water fish that have a symbiotic relationship with certain types of sea anemone (only 10 varieties). The clown fish are 2 to 5 inches long and are typically orange with white and black stripes (although there are some varieties that are blue or yellow). They eat algae, copepods, isopods, and zooplankton. In the wild, they live 6 to 10 years. In captivity, they only have half that life expectancy.

The 16″ x 20″ original acrylic painting on 3/4″ wrapped canvas was a commissioned piece and is not available for sale (the buyer did agree to me offering reproductions). It took about 20 hours to complete, and was done under my birth name in 2009.
